18 m solution of sulphuric acid was diluted to 1000 l. Find the normality of solution.

Change in molarity after dilution =
M1V1 = M2V2
18 M x 1L = M2 x 1000 L
M2 = 18M x 1L/1000 L
     = 0.018 M

Now,
Normality = n x Molarity
n- no. of replaceble ion i.e 2 ( H2SO4 produce two H+ ions )
N = 2 x 0.018  = 0.036 N
