1)what is the molarity of the resulting solution obtained by mixing 2.5L of .5M urea solution and 500 ml of 2M urea solution? 2)The masses of cane sugar required to prepared 250g of 25%solution of cane sugar? 3)how many grams of phosphoric acid (h3PO4)would be needed to neutralise 100g of (Mg(OH)2)?

Dear Swathi

Please ask one question only in one thread.

25% soln means 25% cane sugar and 75% water----
25% cane sugar means in 100gm soln(cane sugar + water) mass of cane sugar is 25gm
by unitary method we have
in 100gm soln 25gm sugar is present
so in 1gm soln 25/100 gm sugar is present i.e. 1/4 gm
hence, in 250 gm soln (1/4 ) * 250 gm sugar is present
or,62.5 gm sugar
so mass of water is 250-62.5=187.5gm
