Since the nitro group is a powerful deactivating substituent, Friedel-Crafts acylation of nitrobenzene does not take place under any conditions.

$NO_{2}$ is applying -M effect. it is an electron withdrawing group it makes an aromatic ring too electron deficient to undergo a FRIEDAL CRAFTS REACTION

Because nitro benzene is highly deactivating group.It reduces electron rich cloud of benzene and hence the incoming electrophile of friedal reaction do not react with nitrobenzene.
