Why is ch3cooh is optically inactive it doesnt have plane or symetry nor does its image superimpose it

Just because it does not have chiral carbon.
Since for a compund to be optically active following conditions are to be satisfied:-
  1. It must have a chiral carbon(All four groups must be different.)
  2. It should not have any type of symmetry.
