Why does acetic anhydride does not show iodoform test even though it has a CH3-C=0 group whereas cyclohexan-1,3-dione shows iodoform test even though it does not have a CH3-C=O nor CH3-CH(OH) group?

iodoform test is used to identify carbonyl groups of ketone . since acid anhydride is an completly different group from ketone it doesnt show positive iodoform test.

acetic anhydride is not a ketone (Since iodoform test is only for ketones.) whereas the other compund mentioned has a ch3-co group attached if you see therfore it gives +ve iodoform test)
