Dear student In aldol a -H is lost as a proton thereby creating a negative centre i.e. carbanion.In case of isopropyl aldehyde there is formation of tertiary carbanion which is not stable and hence wouldn&rsquo;t undergo aldol inspite of the presence of -H.
