A six member ring is cyclic in nature and hence the strain is reduced . Because of internal strainsof c c bond, unsymmetric complexities the carbon ring faces friction to expand beyond 6 member during ring expansion. The main issues raised are also due cis and trans forms that hold the ring sizes.
