hello naresh,The polar carbon-to-oxygen double bond causes aldehydes and ketones to have higher boiling points than those of ethers and alkanes of similar molar masses but lower than those of comparable alcohols that engage in intermolecular hydrogen bonding.

When it comes to melting points and boiling points remember that the greater the ... aldehydes and ketones are polar, they tend to have higher boiling points than ... their boiling points are a little lower than alcohols of similar molecular weight.
