The Hydrogen atom in phenol group is more partially positive than the aliphatic hydrogen atom.Phenol can lose a hydrogen ion because the phenoxide ion formed is stabilised to some extent.

Phenol is more acidic than alcohol. Your statement is not correct. As after releasing H+ phenoxide ion is very much stabilised by resonance and no such type of stability is observed in alcohol.

Well actually phenol is more acidic than alcohol .
Phenoxide ion formed after removal of electron from phenol is stabilised by resonace.but in case of alkoxide ion it is actually destbilised by +I effect of alkyl groups.
