Chiral compound is that compound which contains at least one chiral carbon.A chiral carbon is that carbon which is attached to four different groups.In the above options,option (a) 2,4-Dimethyl-1,3-hexadiene contains carbon containing four different groups.The carbons at 3 and 4 in the chains are attatched to four different groups.Carbon at 3 position contains propenyl and hydrogen and carbon at 4 positon has one methyl and other ethyl group.So this will be an chiral compound.
CH2=C(CH3)CH=C(CH3)C2H5
