If you want to build up your base first and learn logically, Morrison & Boyd will do the task.Both of the books are equally good books and It is must for a person perusing organic chemistry at degree level or higher. But studying at your level would be not give you the desired results. You will find very few topics that are related to the curriculum of XII.
