The blind spot is the location on the retina known as the optic disc, where the optic nerve fibre exit the back of the eye. Because there are no cones or rods at this point on the retina, there is a very small gap in the visual field. The blind spot is the area on the retina without receptors, that respond to light. Therefore an image that falls on this region will not be seen. So, the correct answer is ' Blind spot'
