prefix iso will be used for those alkanes in which one methyl group will be attached to the next to end of the carbon atom of the continious chain .
neo will be used for those alkanes in which two methyl group is to be ATTCHED to the next to end of carbon atom
SEC is used for those carbon atom which are joined to other two carbon atom .
TERT is used for those carbon atom which are joined to three other carbon atom .
iso and neo are besically used for alkyl group ,
