The reactant if is undergoing Kolbe’s electrolysis then will give the following as major product.
RCOONa- + H2O --------> R-R + NaOH +CO2 + H2
Similarly,
Sodium 2,2 dimethyl propanoate ------> (CH3)3-C-C-(CH3)3+NaOH +CO2+ H2
