what is valency of caco3 in organic chemistry can you tell me the answer please

Valency is the combinig capacity of an element and CaCO3 is a compound so here we cannot talk of the term valency.
However the valency of Ca is +2 whereas valency of CO3 is -2.

electrovlency of CaCO3 is 2 as 2 electrons are donated by calcium to carbonate ion. as carbonate is a polyatomic atomic ion with 2 negative charge and calcium ion have 2 positive charge and due to electrostatic attraction the form a molecule CaCO3
