it is an SN2 reaction DMF is polar aprotic solvent (dimethyl formamide) and SN2 requires polar aprotic solvent
SN2 is simply a single step reaction CN- will attack at carbon on which chlorine is attached and consequently Cl- will leave (leaving group) and ur answer is option 4
