the basic difference is that organic compund are obtaed from living being whereas inorganic compound are obtained from non living being.
ex-carbohydrate -organic NaCl-inorganic
organic compound compound are substanc ewhich contain one or more carbon atom covalently bonded with another element .(hydrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, sulphur)

compounds not containing carbon atom or containing carbon atom ionically bonded to otyer atom.(CO,CN-,CO2,CO3^2-,NACL,METALS)
IN organic chemistry we basically study carbon whereas study of other element in periodic table cokes under inorganic chemistry.

thanks and regqrds

ethyne is obtained by hydrolysis of CaC2(an inorganic compound) as far as i know, organic compounds are all compounds of carbon except CO2,CO &other oxides carbonic acid CS2
