In meso compounds there are several optical centers that give an exact opposite optical rotation with respect to each other, thus the compound itself isn’t an optical isomer. Meso compounds are symetrical about an axis that is between optical centers of opposite rotation.

Diastereomers are basicly any compound with multiple optical centers , where some of them differ in rotation, but in the way that compound is still rotates light

Diastereomers at least one of the chiral centers change configuration. For example, if molecule A has chiral centers (R,S) in molecule B there would be a configuration of (S,S).

Meso compounds are compounds that have a superimposable mirror image. Given this they must have at least two chiral centers and a center plane of symmetry.
