In order to remember reaction mechanisms,first focus on how the reaction is taking place?What is adding and what gets removed during the reaction.This will simplify to remember the reaction.Some terms dehydration,dehalogenation,halogenation,nitration etc.should be clear as it helps alot in remembering the reactions.You should know what is an electrophile,nucleophile,inductive effect etc.Once you clear your fundamentals you can easily understand the mechanism of a particular reaction.And last the most important thing is the practise of the reaction mechanisms by writing more and more.Do it as much as you can and surely you will remember the different mechanisms.All the very best.
