the substance that is used first in the chemical reaction is called as limiting reagent.if one or more other reagents present in excess of the quantities required to react with the limiting reagent they are described as excess reactants.
to find the limiting reagent,take the moles of each substance and divide it by the coefficient of chemical equation.the substance that has the sallest answer is the limiting reagent
