Rxn is : When chlorobenzene reacts with NaOH at high temperature 623K and high pressure 300 atm then chlorobenzene is converted into phenol.

DOW PROCESS is a proccess used obtain phenol . To perform it we need CHLOROBENZENE .
THE RXN – C6H6 + NaOH  [ at 623K AND 300atm]  – C6H6ONA [in the presence of HCL] – C6H6OH
