isomerism = compounds which have the same structure and carbon chain but differ in only the position of double and triple bond or functional group are called as isomers
example – 1 butane and 2-butane
metamerism – compound having the same molecular formula but diffrent no of carbon atoms on the either side of the functional group are called metamers and phenomenon are called as metamerism .
