what is diels alders reaction? give its mechanism also?

In diels alders Reaction, cyclohexenes are formed or catenating into larger cyclohexenes.
Basically a conjugated diene and a substituted alkene are brought together to form the cyclohexene system.
And these reactions are reversible.
