Dear Ajay

The response is called Grignard response.
At the point when ethyl acetic acid derivation responds with magnesium bromide it gives ethyl magnesium bromide. When it is additionally trailed by hydrolysis it gives ethane gas.
C2H5-Li+MgBr2-C2H5-MgBr+LiBr
C2H5-MgBr+H2OC2H6+Mg(OH)Br
