What happen when 2- Bromopropane react with Na in presence of ether

When 2-Bromopropane react with sodium in presence of ether it produces propene and as it is a gas it passes trrough the condenser, and can be collected ,with the production of sodium bromide(NaBr).
 
          CH3-CH-CH3 +2Na =CH2=CH-CH +NaBr
