i am not getting your query , kindly be specific , 
when we will compress the gas , then the particles that are there in the gas will come closer with each other and we can accomdate large amount of gas in a small volume , that means within a cylinder . 
and the other thing in which u will convert the vapour into liquid that is called as condensation , in their u are going to do the state conversion , 
the water will appears like droplets , and then it will converted to water from gas .
