Explanation:
oxidation agent means a substance which helps the other subtance to be added with oxygen.
reduction agent means a subject which helps in removing oxygen from a substance.
always remember that only reducing agent will be oxidised. for example CuO+h2 gives Cu + H2O.
HERE copper oxide has reduced to become copper and hydrogen has oxidised to become water.
