What common gases are produced when we burn kinds of plastics(the ones which we use in our day yo day life)

Like a distuinguishing gas which only plastics produce but all kinds of everyday plastic.

please help me with this!!!!!!!!

The toxic gaseous chemicals released during burning of plastic include nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), and polycyclic organic matter (POMs - a solid residue leftover). Burning plastic also releases heavy metals and toxic chemicals such as dioxin.

All of these would not be relased by burning plastic. It depends on the kind of plastic burnt.

PVC - poly vinyl chloride, releases HCl if it is burnt
