enantiomers are defined as stereoisomers of a compound which are related to each other as non superimposible mirror image , they posses identical physical property , , such as melting point , boiling point , solubility , refractive index , etc .
they differ only in the sign of specific rotation , one of the enatiomers rotate to the left , that is called as laevorotatary , while the other rotates to the right called as dextrorotatary ,
