resonance is a method which describes the delocalisation of electron in the molecules whoose structure cannot be explained through a single lewis structure , for example – resonance in benzeene . 
aromaticity is the unexpected stability of a compound which is associated with extra stability of certain types of system , this extra stability associated with resonance delocalised structure 
this property not restricted to benzene , 6 member ring
