What are alkanols and alkoxyalkanes..?? And one more question maleic acid and fumaric acids are geometrical isomers..HOW..??

1. Alkanols are nothing but simply the alcohols with carbon chain of alkane. Example-CH3OH (Methanol) is an alkanol.2. Alkoxyalkanes are ethers. Example- CH3OCH3 (Dimethylether or Methoxymethane) is an alkoxyalkane.3. Yes, Maleic acid and Fumaric acid are geometrical isomers (Fumaric acid is trans dioc acid while Maleic is the cis isomer)
