CH2COO–)2 → CH2 = CH2 + 2CO2 (g) + 2e–
2H2O + 2e– → 2OH– + H2 (g)
So the gas generated during electrolysis of Dipotassium succinate solution is ethene.
Hence option (2) is the answer.
