because carbcation is formed and due to shifting same carbocation is formed in each case

this is an examle of friedel crafts alkylation.bf3 is a lewis acid and a carbocation is generated in this case.rearrangement is possible in both 1 and second option (once d carbocation is formed) so it is basically elctrophilic substion on benzene ring.according to me,both first and second options are correct.
