Ch3MgBr+C2H5CHO in presence of ofH2O/H+ will give 2butanol
etenyloxide (CH2----Ch2)O + C2H5MgBr-----n butanol

CH3COOCH3 + C2H5MgBr----CH3COC2H5--in presence of Zn(Hg) conc HCl will give n butane.
