The first thing that you should do for any topic in any subject is go through the NCERT chapter.I would strongly recommend that you do the NCERTs .

NCERT textbooks are written by a team of author's who are all experts in their area

For chemistry you can refer

Organic Chemistry by Morrison Boyd, Himanshu pandey.
Organic Chemistry by O.P. Tandon.
Inorganic Chemistry by O.P. Tandon.
Modern approach to chemical calculations by R.C. Mukherjee.
Numerical Chemistry by P.Bahadur.
Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J.D. Lee.
