thermodynamics have a broad uses in everyday life , the heat engines , the motors , the turbines whatever things that deals with the heat and thermal process involves some relation with thermodynamics , 
this is the process human body use to cool itself , 
in chemistry its use to carry out various reactions , and every chemical reaction do obeys the law of thermodynamics . 
so, it have a great importance , right from you wake up till the end of the day , thermodynamics works up .
