Please suggest me a way to learn organic chemistry . I can understand organic chemistry but face difficulty while solving questions and I forget it within a week. Plz suggest me some books for practising of organic chemistry for mains.

Organic chemistry can be mastered only by understanding and practising. Write the reactions and mechanism over and over again (not by heart). Put a separate notebook for mechanism alone. Go from scratch. Begin with nomenclature, then to GOC and then to all. Orderly approach is important because topics of organic chemistry are connected over the other. If you master GOC well, then all other part of organic chemistry is a cake walk.
