this is the formation of picric acid (2,4,6 trinitrobenzene)
when it react with concentrated sulphuric acid mixture of o phenolsulphuric acid and p phenol sulphuric acid is formed , when this mixture again react with nitric acid then picric acid is formed. hope this will clear please aproove .
