Benzene ring will be formed as h3po2 with water will remove the oh group from the compound. Also whenever H3PO2 is used remeber that only benezene will be left as a product

Note: Acid is a source of Hydrogen ion (H+).
 
Here, we are using Phosphoric acid on Phenol (C6H5OH).
 
The mechanism is that, the H+ ion generated by the acid attacks the OH group and takes it out, forming water.
H+ + OH- ----> H2O
 
Thus, benzene will be formed as a product.
 
Also, if you add Zinc dust (and heat) to phenol, we get benzene.
