See in the carbon chain two functional groups are present ——-Aldehyde (CHO) and carboxylic( CooH)
As Carboxylic group has higher priority than aldehyde so numbering will start from right side as from here it will get least no..
Also carboxylic acid (oic acid) is written as suffix while aldehyde as prefix
So as there are four carbons and all C-C have single bond
For aldehyde prefix is oxo
Its name will be 4 -oxo butane -1- oic acid
