When the central atom having pi bond has different groups then the no. of geom. isomers are given as:
=> 2^n where n are no. of stereocenters.
when n is even,
then
=> 2^(n-1) + 2^(n/2 – 1)
 
For Odd,
=> 2^n-1 + 2^(n/2 + 1)
