No, it is not sufficient because of the following reasons :-

  • JEE Mains is a very competitive exam in which you have to solve questions in stipulated amount of time. So you have to learn many shortcut techniques so that you can solve questions faster than others. 
  • All the reactions are not there in NCERT . So you will be needing others book to follow those questions . Also you have to checkout last ten year questions to know what type of questions are asked from organic chemistry.
  • The thing that matters most is that you should have a good understanding of all the concepts of organic chemistry. It will only happen if you are able to apply those concepts in numerical. For that you have to practice lot of questions because the more you practice , the better you get. And there are not many questions provided in the NCERT.
