i think its an SN1 reaction with carbocation intermediate......

What I feel it is SN2.. I don`t think there is any carbocation formed during ammonolysis .. Example for ammonolysis of CH3Cl..

yes sorry i was wrong its an SN2 reaction where ammonia or its derivatives reacts with one degree alkyl halide and gives corresponding amine.

But  t-butyl bromide undergo amonolysis to give isobutylene, which happens in SN1 mechanism, where a double bond is formed using Saytzeff's rule. So it's SN1
