In this question reaction was performing in polar aprotic solvent which is better for SN2 mechanism so why reaction was taking place by SN1 mechanism.What is the role of aprotic solvent here?CN is a strong nucleophile so the reaction must be taken through SN2 but the reaction is taking place in SN1 mechanism.How???Please explain.
