In the structural isomers for C5H10, is ethyl cyclopropane possible? While drawing the structural isomers we have to consider the stability or simply we have to find all possible structures whether stable or not?

Hai Anushree to find the total number of structural isomers having molecular formula C5H10, you should consider the number of position isomers as well as number of chain isomers. For eg the total no of structural isomers having a molecular formula C5H11Br is. Number of position isomers= 3 Number of chain isomers. =5 Total number of structural isomers = 5+3. = =8
