The book is good for Jee main , if you will stick on to it by practice pont of view.

the actual Solomon book is too comprehensive to study for JEE.
the book by MS Chauhan is very good and it covers all the topics of JEE and it includes no topic out of JEE syllabus but it depends on you that it is good for mains or not as it is made for JEE advance and you have to deselect the topics which are not in mains
