I have the honour to state that I have faced some problem with those question
below:
1.To produce Alkylbromide we need Alkanol,HBr and H2SO4 but H2SO4 is not necessary to produce Alkyliodide-Why?
2.Machanism of this reaction:R-O-R +CO (BF3,H2O,high pressure and heat) = R-COOR ?
It will be grateful if anyone answer those question..please,please.

  1. H2SO4 is generally used for the purpose of Hydration and Dehyfdration of the reactants.
  2. that can lead it to the formation of saturated or maybe unsaturated carbon compounds too.
