1.How to seperate each elements when they are exist in a one container:ethene, ethyne, ethane?
2.To produce Alkylbromide we need Alkanol,HBr and H2SO4 but H2SO4 is not necessary to produce Alkyliodide-Why?
3.Diamminecopperchloride [Cu(NH3)2]Cl reaction with Alkyl-1-yne but why it doesn’t reaction with Alkyl-2-yne or Alkyl-3-yne ?
It will be grateful if anyone answer those question..please,please.

@ emon
if u have a mixture of ethyne , ethane , and ethene . then u can separate it with the help of tollens reagent .
on passing them, ethyne will give white precipitate . of silver acetylide .
while rest of the gases will not show any reaction .
ethyne can be regenarated by treating the white precipitate of disilver acetyldide . with dil . nitric acid .
rest of the gases containing ethene and ethane passed through cold conc h2so4 , when ethene is absorbed as ethyne hydrogen sulphate , and ethane escape out which is collected . |
the ethyl hydrogen sulphate will be collected in a separte container after heating .
HOPE IT HELPS
ALL THE BEST ..
