The given compound has two groups and should be considered  for determining the molecule with where shoud be the attack according to the +M and -M groups atached to the rings.
Here O shows +M eefct and C=O -M.
and under these conditions electrophile would attack near the molecule which would show +M effect.
Hence c option would be more appropraite to tick.

But co group withdraws so it can increase electron density in the meta position...y not d be the option
