i cant understand how acidity and basisity is affected by inductive groups

Inductive effect involve the displacement of e- along a chain of atom due the presence of polar bonds. -I effect increase acidity as e- withdrawing group attract e- more strongly than hydrogen. e.g NO2,cl..+l effect decrease acidity as e- donating group donate e-.e.gCH3,NH2.
